Cities That Swing Out Sister Should Visit In 2011!

I'm adding this thread on the news that Swing Out Sister has canceled all US dates because of Iceland's Eyjafjallajokul (can't get over the spelling of this thing) in April. Because they've got some more time to plan ahead and Corinne suggested that more cities could be a possibility. So with all the emails I get that say "Please visit...," I'm going to do a little thing for us and I want you to suggest to Corinne and Andy what cities they should come and visit and why. I'll point this primarily to the US but if you have any compelling reason for SOS to go to a country, by all means, post it here.

Houston is very successful for Basia. I'm sure there are more Swing Out Sister fans here than you think. Plus, there are so many "drive-able" places nearby...like Dallas, San Antonio, New Orleans etc.

Houston can be hot and humid in the summer, so September or October would be more ideal, but ANY time would be fine for SOS fans! (Air conditioning must have been invented by a Houstonian! )

So Corinne and Andy, grace us with a visit - you can be sure there will be a mass outpouring of love and affection welcoming you here.

(Plus I'm sure the local SOS fans would be willing to chip in to present you two with a couple of 10-gallon hats and make you honorary Texans! Cheers!)

Clemson, SC. It's only two hours from Charlotte, Columbia, and Atlanta. A unique college town with fun bars and place to eat. The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts seats about 900 and would be a tremendous intimate venue for a show. Mickey Harder is the Manager for the Brooks Center if they need a contact.

Hello everybody this is Pierjazz, and I must say that seeing SOS for the first time last june 4 was one of the most awesomest experience I've had with a band that I love so much. Considering that I go back with their first album and then seeing them for the first time, and to have them come back to L.A. would be incredible. That June 4th concert at the EL Rey was explosive to me. Come back Corrine and Andy L.A. loves ya!

Yes, the El Rey Theatre concert was brilliant. The place was packed with grateful fans. When Corinne was saying goodbye to us towards the end, I couldn't help getting misty-eyed. It was a wonderful, glorious evening.
